Know more about your guests with profile upgrades
You’ve told us that it’s important to know more about who you’re hosting. Now, guests who book a reservation or join a trip will be prompted to create a more complete profile.
How do upgraded guest profiles work?
With our new profile setup, we’re making it easy and fun for guests to fill out their profiles. This includes a guided photo capture that helps guests add a profile photo that clearly shows their face, without other people in the image.
Similar to the Host profile, guests can include details like where they live, languages they speak, and other facts about themselves, so you get a better sense of who’s coming to stay. All booking guests are still required to verify their identities.
Guests can also add travel stamps, showcasing all the places they’ve been on Airbnb. These show guests’ travel history with illustrated stamps, like the ones you find in a passport.
As always, you’ll be able to access guests’ profiles by opening a reservation.
Profile upgrades are part of the 2024 Summer Release, and they’re available to all guests now.
